Short answer: Order on gurgur.in, pay by UPI, and we deliver within about an hour of your payment arriving (or at your chosen time). We check photo ID at the door (21+) and collect the kit the next day.
If you have never ordered a hookah to your home before, it can feel like there are a lot of unknowns. When will it come? Do I pay now? What happens to the kit after? This guide walks through a GURGUR order from start to finish.
1. Pick what you need
Start with how many people and whether you already own a hookah.
- Just the filled chillum, if you have a hookah at home: mitti chillum ₹249 or silicone chillum ₹349.
- Chillum with our hookah base, if you don't: ₹300 more, so ₹549 with a mitti chillum or ₹649 with a silicone one.
- A package for a group, you pick every flavour: Duo (2 mitti chillums, 1 base) ₹699, Duo premium (2 silicone chillums, 1 base) ₹899, Group (4 mitti chillums, 2 bases) ₹1,299, Group premium (4 silicone chillums, 2 bases) ₹1,499.
- The Party (₹4,999, all-in): 4 bases, our host for four hours and unlimited flavours. The host comes with the kit, sets it up, stays and takes it back the same night. A Group with a host (₹2,299) has our host for 2 hours.
Then pick flavours. We have 33 on the flavours page and 6 nicotine-free ones on the herbal page. Not sure? Our flavours guide helps.
2. Choose when
In the cart you choose one of two options:
- Deliver now. We head out as soon as your order comes in and try to reach you fast. It can take up to 1 hour, depending on weather and traffic.
- Schedule. Pick a date and time slot. Good for parties, so the kit arrives before your guests.
3. Check out
At checkout you give your address and phone number. We use the phone number to message you on WhatsApp when we are on the way, and to find your building.
The delivery fee depends on how far you are from our nearest hub, in a straight line:
- Up to 3 km: free
- 3 to 6 km: ₹99
- 6 to 10 km: ₹149
- 10 to 15 km: ₹199
- 15 to 20 km: ₹299
We don't deliver beyond 20 km yet. The checkout shows the exact fee for your address before you place the order. Areas with their own page:
Salt Lake · New Town · Lake Town · Bangur · Rajarhat · Kestopur · Park Street · Camac Street · Elgin · Esplanade · Sealdah · Ballygunge · Gariahat · Alipore · Tollygunge · Kasba · Behala
. The full list is on our delivery page. After you order, pay the total by UPI, with your order number in the note. We start packing once the payment arrives. No cash.
4. Changed your mind?
Your order confirmation email has a "Cancel this order" button. If you signed in when you ordered, your order page has one too. It works until we start preparing your order. After that, message us on WhatsApp at +91 89100 03072.
5. At the door
We only deliver to people who are 21 or older. Keep a valid government photo ID ready. If nobody at the address is 21 or older, or there is no ID, we can't hand over the kit.
You have already paid by UPI for your order and the delivery fee, so there is nothing more to pay at the door.
6. Your evening
Keep the kit on a steady table or the floor, away from curtains, kids and pets. Don't lift a base by its stem. If something is not right, message us on WhatsApp and we will help. Our house party checklist has more tips.
7. We collect the kit
We come back the next day to collect the kit. With the party package, the host takes it back the same night. Keep all the parts together so the handover is quick.
We check the kit when we collect it. Read the details on our returns and cancellations page.
8. Credit for next time
Once your order is delivered and paid, you get 5% of it back as store credit. Sign in at gurgur.in with the email you ordered with to see it and use it. You also get your own referral code. When a friend uses it on their first order, they get ₹100 credit and you get ₹50. See GURGUR Rewards.
