Short answer: For 4 to 6 people, Duo (₹699) or Duo premium (₹899). For 6 to 12, Group (₹1,299) or Group premium (₹1,499). Want someone to set it up? Group with a host (₹2,299) adds our host for 2 hours. For 12 or more, the all-in Party (₹4,999): 4 bases, a host for 4 hours and unlimited flavours. Keep photo ID ready at the door.
A hookah on the terrace or in the living room turns a regular adda into a proper night. It also comes with small things that go wrong if nobody plans them: too few chillums, a base on a wobbly table, no ID at the door. This checklist is what we tell friends who ask us before a party.
1. Count the people, then pick the size
A hookah is shared, so you do not need one per person. A rough guide from our own orders:
- 2 to 3 people: one chillum with our hookah base (from ₹549), or just the chillum if you own a hookah (from ₹249).
- 4 to 6 people: Duo (₹699, mitti) or Duo premium (₹899, silicone). Two chillums on one base, so two flavours go round.
- 6 to 12 people: Group (₹1,299, mitti) or Group premium (₹1,499, silicone). Four chillums and two bases, so the room splits into two circles.
- 12 people or more, or you would rather not manage it: the Party (₹4,999): 4 hookah bases, our host for four hours and as many flavours as you like, mitti and silicone, Turkish included. The host sets it up, stays and takes it all back the same night.
2. Pick flavours for the room, not just for you
Mix one paan, one fruit and one mint, and you will cover most tastes. Meetha Paan and Blueberry Blast is the safest pair we know. If anyone is new to hookah, keep one mild flavour on the table. Our hookah flavours guide has more pairings.
If some guests prefer no tobacco, add a herbal, nicotine-free flavour to the order.
3. Order early on weekends
You can choose Deliver now or schedule a time at checkout. Deliver now can take up to an hour depending on weather and traffic. For Friday and Saturday nights, schedule your slot in the afternoon so the kit arrives before guests do.
4. Pay before we leave
Pay the order total by UPI right after you order, with your order number in the note. We dispatch as soon as it arrives, so a scheduled slot stays on time. No cash.
5. Have your ID handy
We only deliver to people who are 21 or older, and our team checks a photo ID at the door. The person receiving the order should have theirs ready. If nobody at the door can show an ID, we cannot hand over the kit.
6. Choose the spot before we arrive
- A flat, steady surface. The floor or a low table is better than a tall side table.
- Away from curtains, sofas and anything that catches easily.
- Open air or a room with a window open. Terraces and balconies work best.
- Out of the way of walking paths, so nobody kicks the base.
- Away from children and pets.
7. A few things to keep near the hookah
- Tongs and a small heat-safe plate, if you are handling the chillum yourself.
- A jug of water to top up the base.
- Some cold drinks and snacks. Sweet and salty both go well.
- A dustbin bag for foil and tissues.
8. During the party
Let the chillum rest every so often so it does not run too hot. If the taste turns harsh, the chillum is done; a fresh one is better than pushing on. With the party package, the host takes care of this for you.
9. After the party
Leave the kit as it is. You do not need to wash anything. Just keep it somewhere safe and together. We collect it the next day (the party package is collected the same night) and check it. Pickup times and details are on returns and cancellations.
10. Want to do it again?
Sign in with the email or Google account you ordered with and you get credit back on every order through GURGUR Rewards, plus your own code to share with friends.
